ANTHONY ASSETTO to PARTICIPATe IN THE IRCICA AL-QUDS / JERUSALEM 2015 PROJECT. Tony is among three students selected along with Judith Bing, professor of Architecture and Interiors, from Drexel University’s Department of Architecture to participate in the IRCICA Al-Quds / Jerusalem 2015 project. He will be traveling to Istanbul and Jerusalem in January to perform research on the urban character and architecture of the Haram al-Sharif in the Islamic quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. The information they gather with be presented in a report published by IRCICA. The goal of this project is to support efforts at restoration and preservation of historically significant buildings and artistic forms which contribute to Islamic heritage.
